Feather Duster

Feather Duster

If you have made any of my patterns, you know I love to play with construction and get inventive with stitch types.  This square was born out of my experimentation with a special type of extended double crochet I 'dreamt' up.  The result was a feathery looking stitch, that when placed close together and in a circle, overlapped slightly and reminded me of a feather duster.

Special thanks to the following Ravelry members for all their hard work testing:

I made some major changes to the outside rounds of this square partway through testing, so these testers actually made the square twice!

The free version of the pattern follows.  You can also download a printable PDF of the pattern for a nominal fee through my Ravelry store - here.

Enjoy the square - and try not to think of housework as you create this lovely feather duster!
